Dive into a 5-week session of creativity and innovation in this robotics enrichment using LEGO SPIKE Prime! Students will build and program robots while learning foundational coding and engineering skills. No experience needed - just a passion for discovery and hands-on learning!

  Beginner basketball enthusiasts and future stars, get ready! This 6-week program is designed to dribble, pass, and shoot your way to basketball excellence. We'll kick things off by refining your dribbling and passing skills, establishing a strong foundation for accurate shooting. Following that, we'll focus on footwork to help you navigate the court with the agility and control of a professional point guard. After mastering the fundamentals, we'll elevate your game with advanced strategies and techniques! Prepare for high-energy drills and exhilarating scrimmages! • Highlands Theater
  Last year we told a tale as old as time, but now it’s time to follow the yellow brick road… to center stage! Join this year’s theater production of the Wizard of Oz, where you’ll explore drama, music, movement, and all the wonders Oz has to offer. Students will learn to act, sing, and dance, all while having fun. *Mandatory parent meeting Monday, January 12, at 5:00pm in the Highlands Elementary School’s MPR* Open to grades 1 – 5 only Rehearsals are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, January 12 – April 24, from 2:40 - 4:30pm *Wednesday practice for main characters is 12:20pm – 2:30pm No rehearsal on January 19, February 16, March 30, March 31, April 1, April 2, April 6. • Jewelry Masters
  Delve into the enchanting world of DIY jewelry creation! From designing and stringing beads to assembling unique bracelets, necklaces, and earrings, young artisans will unleash their creativity and bring their imaginative designs to life. Throughout this hands-on course, participants will learn essential techniques in jewelry making, discovering the magic of combining different shapes, colors, and textures to fashion truly one-of-a-kind pieces.   Minecraft isn't just the world's most popular game; it's also an excellent tool for teach a wide array of subjects. At Athena, we've developed a project based approach to a variety of important topics using Minecraft Educational; our course will cover Personalized Game Design, Chemistry, Programming in Python and Javascript, Architecture and design. The fundamentals of electrical circuitry using Minecraft's patented Redstone circuit system, Logic gates, multi-system mechanisms, Modding, chemistry, ecosystems, farming, and Digital Citizenship, and more!   Bring your game ideas to life in Roblox! We'll guide you through the lifecycle of game development; you'll sketch out an idea, design your game, and complete a finished product! You'll use the Lua programming language to create in Roblox's 3D studio while mastering real-world programming concepts. Whether you're completely new to coding or a designmaster, Roblox's game design engine offers some incredibly fun challenges. We offer a unique and collaborative approach to programming and game design that will allow kids to develop their creativity while fostering an interest in practical skills.
