Music Production and Filmmaking Camp

Unleash your creativity in this dynamic full-day camp that combines Music Production 101 and Hollywood Filmmaking! In the morning, students will explore the exciting world of digital music production using Soundtrap, a kid-friendly digital audio workstation. They’ll learn the fundamentals of songwriting, recording, and sound mixing, creating their own original tracks. Then, in the afternoon, they’ll step into the world of filmmaking, collaborating in small production teams to write, act, and direct their own short films. Using iPads and professional editing techniques, students will learn about camera angles, lighting, green screen effects, and storytelling. Students will have the opportunity to incorporate their finished music tracks into their movies! At the end of the camp, they’ll showcase their completed short films, walking away with real-world creative skills in both music and film production! Instructor: Athena Coding
