  Highlands offers adult lessons for swimmers of all skill levels and abilities. Instructors create a comfortable and welcoming environment for adults looking to learn how to swim or improve their strokes. **Class Ratio update- 3:1 per group** Minimum enrollment for a group lesson is 3 participants. - Sections with 2 participants on the start date will adjust to a semi-private.* - Sections with 1 participant on the start date will adjust to a private lesson.* *Pricing will be adjusted to the lesson type provided; participants will have the option to switch to another section. • Lifeguard Training Blended …
  Learn how to save a life and become an American Red Cross certified lifeguard! After successful completion, the American Red Cross will issue certificates in Lifeguarding (including Deep Water) with CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid. Bring swimsuit, towel, resuscitation mask (receive in class), and lunch each day. Required prerequisites must be successfully completed at first class. This class consists of approximately 6 hours of online learning, which must be completed before the first class meeting. Students should be prepared to be in and out of the water multiple times daily. Please bring athletic swimwear, which will stay in place during water activities, towel(s), sunscreen, sack lunch, water, hat, swim cap, and anything else you may need during class. • Youth Swim Lesson-Group
  Level 1: Introduction to Water Skills: Students will learn how to feel comfortable in the water and safely enjoy it. Level 2: Fundamentals of Aquatic Skills: Children will learn basic swimming skills. Level 3: Stroke Development: Additional guided practice will help students improve their skills. Level 4: Stroke Improvement: Kids will gain confidence during swim lessons, improve their stroke and gain additional aquatic skills. **Class Ratio update- 3:1 per group** - A group of 3 is required to hold a group lesson - A group of 2 enrolled in a group lesson will be converted to a semi-private* - If only 1 participant is enrolled in a group lesson, the lesson will be converted to a private* *Participants may choose to remain in lesson after class is converted or they may opt to enroll in another lesson (more information...)
