Guitar Lessons

Enroll is these fun group classes and you will learn guitar care, tuning, strumming patterns, chords, single note melody lines, music terminology and the skills needed to play many of your favorite songs. It’s necessary for the students to have their own guitars and for them to bring them to every class. Practicing at home is a requirement for the students to reach their maximum potential. Open to beginners as well as more advanced players. Participants must provide their own guitar.

AI Adventures
Our course is designed to introduce your child to the world of Artificial Intelligence and inspire their creativity and curiosity. In this class, your child will have the opportunity to work with some of the latest and most cutting edge AI technologies, such as ChatGPT, Stable Diffusion, DALL-E, and Novel.ai. They'll learn how to use these tools to create their own animations, short stories, and even films! Through hands-on activities and projects, your child will learn how AI works and how it can be used to solve problems and give them new outlets for them to express their creativity . They'll get to practice their critical thinking and collaboration skills as they work on projects with their classmates. Artful-Noons
This course focuses on building fundamental Art skills. Kids enjoy an hour of creativity exploring and applying their imagination into various types of art projects, uncovering true talent that has yet to be seen. It is an amazing and fun way for children to make choices and solve problems. Projects includes painting, crafting, pastel art, and sculpting. These projects will help kids develop their own concepts, kids will be introduced to various art materials while learning different techniques such as shading, blending, glazing, water consistency and varying size or color. Bring your favorite and most memorable childhood movies to life in this new camp offering with Brick Tech. Recreate some of your favorite scenes and characters from the movies such as Elsa’s castle, Buzz and Woody, motorized Lightning McQueen, and even the architecture of Mulan. Checkmate Chess
OutOfTheBoxKids Chess class is a great way to sprinkle a little intellectual stimulation into your After-school activities! This class covers a complete introduction to the chess pieces. The focus is to teach kids the different moves and values, to understanding and strategizing on good trades versus bad trades, to ending the game with a checkmate! Chef it Up!
Chef It Up takes kids on a culinary adventure. Each week we pick a country of the day then prepare fun foods and drinks from that region! Some of the countries we visit are: Italy with Pasta making, Japan with Sushi Making; Mexico with Salsa or Quesadillas or the good ole’ USA with Apple Pies! If there is no access to an oven… no problem as recipes can be made as a “no bake” option where food gets prepared and sent home with baking instructions to have a parent cook! Chess Wizards
Chess Wizards has been teaching the game of chess since 2002. Join us this summer for tons of challenging chess lessons, exciting games, and cool prizes. You'll improve your chess skills, meet new friends, and work out your most powerful muscle - your brain! Our camps include fun team chess games (like Corner Chess), recess time (of course), snacks, tournaments, and puzzles. Each camper receives a T-shirt, trophy, and puzzle folder. Magic Camp
This half-day, weeklong camp, will introduce students to the many kinds of magic! In this camp, we offer a project based approach to a variety of important topics using Minecraft Educational. Each child will engage in personalized game design, animation and storytelling, programming in Python and Javascript, architecture and design, fundamentals of electrical circuitry using Minecraft’s patented Redstone circuit system, logic gates, multi-system mechanisms, and modding. *Laptop or iPad required. * iPads can be rented for $40 from Athena Coding. Piano Lessons
This is an introductory piano class for students who have little or no experience playing the piano. Beginners will become familiar with the proper body posture required to play the piano. Beginners will learn how to play with both hands and will also learn the basics of arm, elbow, wrist, and hand positions while becoming familiar with correct finger positioning. S.O.A.R Camp
S.O.A.R. (Student Opportunities for Awareness and Responsibility) gives campers exposure to pressing issues in their world today and for their future. Over four days, we will look at pollution, climate change, recycling, the housing shortage, and transportation issues. Campers will learn about the key factors relevant to these issues, discuss predicted consequences and explore possible solutions. This camp will include games and hands-on activities.
