Kuk Sool is an awesome activity to gain coordination, self-confidence, and become fit. Whether you are naturally athletic or not, one of the greatest aspects of martial arts is that all students get to participate equally in all activities, while making friends. Each session will focus on new principles.

Learn and Build a mindful exercise routine to support your favorite activities.
Objectives
• Increase join stability, primarily in spine, shoulders, hips, knees & feet
• Increase (or maintain), and balance muscular tone
• Promote functional mobility
You will be guided through mindful movements, including yoga postures, especially targeted to stabilize joints, strengthen muscles that support them, and then stretch those muscles, exploring range of motion that is functional and pain free. Movements and exercises will be adapted to the participants, varying degree of difficulty according to the group’s needs. The practice will be done bare footed, unless the participant needs to wear shoes.
Susana Laborde-Blaj, Certified Yoga Therapist recognized by the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT), has been teaching movement for 40 years, including various kinds of dance and yoga.
Please bring:
1. One “thera band”
2. A yoga mat
3. One yoga blanket, or 1 beach towel (to use as padding)
4. One yoga block
5. One yoga strap or fabric belt or long scarf

Join instructor Linda Leung as we strengthen and lengthen the whole body.
We’ll strengthen with body weight (or your supplied hand weights) and lengthen with yoga-inspired poses and flows. We'll warm the body with yoga-inspired flows before moving into 20 minutes of strength exercises suited to your workout goals. We'll end the class with 20 minutes of yoga-inspired poses and flows.
This class is suitable for all levels. Linda will provide modifications, whether you're a beginner or advanced.
