FALL 2021 VIRTUAL CLASSES Virtual Dyeing Fabrics/Shibori, Batik, Tie Dye Class This is next level tie dye! Learn the ancient Japanese technique of Shibori, the process of twisting, bunching and folding fabric and dyeing it in a stunning indigo blue. You’ll also explore Batik, using wax and dye to create unique patterns and textiles. **Upon purchase you will receive a video that explains how to premix your dye before class. Virtual Jewelry Making/ Beading Basics Ready to take your first step on your jewelry making journey? In this beginner beading class, get to know the tools of the trade, and all the techniques you need to know to start creating unique, dazzling beaded jewelry from scratch! Students will gain the knowledge and skill to create their own jewelry pieces. **This class is a prerequisite for all other jewelry making courses. Virtual Jewelry/Need 4 Beads Bracelets Bead ‘em, love ‘em, stack ‘em! Bracelets are one of our all-time favorite accessories to make, and we’re so excited to bring all campers a wide variety of designs! Learn how to design patterns that make your jewelry pop as well as how to work with multiple strands of beading wire and different beads to achieve eye catching shapes and textures. **Beading Basics is a prerequisite for this class. Virtual How to Draw: 3D Princess Dresses Bippety-boppity-boo! With a wave of a magic wand (or colored pencil), students will learn how to draw figures and design enchanting gowns to get their princess ready for the ball! Using beautiful watercolor, embellishments and a collage technique, young artists will create lifelike 3D images.

  Our course is designed to introduce your child to the world of Artificial Intelligence and inspire their creativity and curiosity. In this class, your child will have the opportunity to work with some of the latest and most cutting edge AI technologies, such as ChatGPT, Stable Diffusion, DALL-E, and Novel.ai. They'll learn how to use these tools to create their own animations, short stories, and even films! Through hands-on activities and projects, your child will learn how AI works and how it can be used to solve problems and give them new outlets for them to express their creativity . They'll get to practice their critical thinking and collaboration skills as they work on projects with their classmates.   This course focuses on building fundamental Art skills. Kids enjoy an hour of creativity exploring and applying their imagination into various types of art projects, uncovering true talent that has yet to be seen. It is an amazing and fun way for children to make choices and solve problems. Projects includes painting, crafting, pastel art, and sculpting. These projects will help kids develop their own concepts, kids will be introduced to various art materials while learning different techniques such as shading, blending, glazing, water consistency and varying size or color.   OutOfTheBoxKids Chess class is a great way to sprinkle a little intellectual stimulation into your After-school activities! This class covers a complete introduction to the chess pieces.   Chef It Up takes kids on a culinary adventure. Each week we pick a country of the day then prepare fun foods and drinks from that region! Some of the countries we visit are: Italy with Pasta making, Japan with Sushi Making; Mexico with Salsa or Quesadillas or the good ole’ USA with Apple Pies! If there is no access to an oven… no problem as recipes can be made as a “no bake” option where food gets prepared and sent home with baking instructions to have a parent cook!   This is an introductory piano class for students who have little or no experience playing the piano. Beginners will become familiar with the proper body posture required to play the piano. Beginners will learn how to play with both hands and will also learn the basics of arm, elbow, wrist, and hand positions while becoming familiar with correct finger positioning.
